1. Who we are

BidBudz ("BidBudz," "we," "us") is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a company organized in [STATE]. BidBudz lets people in the free world support an incarcerated loved one by purchasing closed-loop store credit ("BidBuckz"), gifting or sending it to other BidBudz accounts, and redeeming it for goods we arrange to be shipped to a correctional facility. By creating an account or using bidbudz.com, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and use BidBudz only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for following the rules of the correctional facility involved in any order.

3. Your account and PIN

You are responsible for keeping your BidBudz ID and PIN confidential and for all activity under your account. Spending is protected by a PIN. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. BidBuckz — what it is (and isn't)

• BidBuckz is store credit for use inside BidBudz only. It is not money, not a bank deposit, and not a general-purpose payment instrument.
• BidBuckz cannot be redeemed for cash. There are no withdrawals, checks, or transfers to any bank or card.
• BidBuckz does not expire and carries no dormancy, inactivity, or maintenance fees.
• BidBuckz has no cash value, is non-transferable outside the BidBudz platform, and may not be resold.

5. Buying BidBuckz

BidBuckz is purchased by card through our payment processor (Stripe) at the package rates shown at checkout. We do not see or store your full card number.

6. Gifting and sending

You may gift BidBuckz to another BidBudz account or send it to a contact you have added to your account. These are internal, closed-loop transfers of store credit only — no cash moves, and we charge no fee on the transfer. Send only to people you know and trust; transfers are generally final.

7. Store orders

• When you redeem BidBuckz for an item, BidBudz places the order with a retailer/publisher and directs it to ship directly to the facility in line with correctional mail rules.
• You are responsible for providing accurate recipient and facility details (name, booking/ID number, facility address).
• Delivery times depend on the retailer and the facility mailroom and are outside our control. Some facilities restrict or route incoming mail through a designated vendor; items may be delayed or rejected under facility rules.
• We only offer items intended to comply with facility rules. We may decline or cancel an order that appears non-compliant.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use BidBudz to break any law or facility rule, to launder or disguise funds, to harass anyone, to resell BidBuckz, or to circumvent any correctional facility's monitoring or security. The inmate email channel is limited to the account commands we support and may not be used to relay messages.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, or close an account for suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or violations of these Terms or facility rules. Where an account is closed without wrongdoing, any remaining BidBuckz will be handled as described in our Refund & Fulfillment Policy.

10. Disclaimers

BidBudz is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any specific item will be accepted by a facility or delivered within a specific time. We are not affiliated with the Bureau of Prisons, any facility, or any email/communications vendor.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BidBudz's total liability for any claim relating to your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the transaction at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. [Confirm scope with counsel.]

12. Changes

13. Governing law
